Wake Forest picks up commit No. 12

July, 23, 2012
Wake Forest picked up its 12th commitment for the 2013 class Monday in wide receiver Tyree Harris (Marietta, Ga./Marietta). The 6-foot-2, 165-pound wideout had offers from Boston College, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Mississippi State and Missouri, but chose Wake Forest for multiple reasons.

"I committed to Wake Forest because I love the coaching staff and the atmosphere there," Harris said. "I felt the vibe and connection there. My mom loves it, I love it, and it just feels like home."

Harris said he built up a great relationship with the coaches in Winston-Salem, especially his future position coach, and gave credit to his high school for the opportunity to play college football and further his education.
