According to multiple sources, senior cornerback Tyreece Jiles (Cape Coral, Fla.) remains committed to North Carolina despite reports that he switched his pledge to Purdue.
Jiles originally picked the Tar Heels in October. Earlier this month, Cape Coral coach Ben Metheny informed the Journal and Courier that Jiles was actually committed to Purdue.
Additionally, his mother, Marqui Church, told Scout.com that her son may take visits to Central Florida and Wake Forest. No dates have been set.
South Florida, Iowa State, Indiana, Kentucky, Western Kentucky, Maryland, Minnesota, Duke, Nebraska, Oklahoma State, Mississippi State and Illinois also offered Jiles earlier in the process.
