The top-ranked player in Kansas has chosen to be a Cowboy.
Three-star athlete Jerel Morrow (Emporia, Kan./Emporia) on Saturday verbally committed to play for Oklahoma State, becoming the Cowboys’ 12th overall commitment. A 5-foot-11, 180-pound, two-way standout at Emporia, Morrow is ranked No. 56 among all athletes nationally but ranked No. 1 among athletes in Kansas.
Morrow chose Oklahoma State over Kansas State and Nebraska and said his decision ultimately came down to the Cowboys and Wildcats.
