Duke grabs Georgia lineman

June, 22, 2012
The state of Georgia is brimming with gridiron talent year in and year out, but the 2013 class has a chance to be special as FBS prospects seem to be emerging every week from the Peach State. Duke capitalized on the depth of prospects in Georgia last week, picking up a commitment from a recruit flying under the radar.

Mike Ramsay (Marietta, Ga./The Walker School), was a starter on both sides of the ball as a junior, but the 6-foot-3, 260-pound lineman will likely play defensive tackle in college. Ramsay decided last week he wanted to be a Blue Devil.

"I committed to Duke," Ramsay said.
