Arguably the top performer at Ohio State's camp Thursday was 2014 receiver Thaddeus Snodgrass (Springfield, Ohio/Springfield), and the Buckeyes coaching staff rewarded him at the end of the day.
Snodgrass picked up an offer from Ohio State on Thursday evening.
"Ohio State offered me," he wrote in a text message.
Snodgrass performed the best among the receivers working out, and caught every ball thrown his way on a day when a majority of the receiving corps battled drops. The 6-foot, 174-pound receiver cut short his afternoon as there was not much left for him to do.
Meyer and Snodgrass spoke on the phone on June 8, and the coaches asked Snodgrass to stick around following the camp.
Michigan State and Toledo have already offered Snodgrass, who will camp at Notre Dame next.
The only disappointing part about Snodgrass’ day is that he was wearing plain white socks instead of the Superman and Superwoman pairs he wore at previous camps.
