Big, physical pass-catchers are always a sought after commodity and wide receiver Jack Austin (Chino Hills, Calif./Chino Hills) is beginning to reap the benefits of his size and skill.
The 6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect has been gaining momentum on the recruiting trail and now holds offers from Boise State, Oregon State, Utah, San Diego State and Utah State. Austin is pleased with the offers he has to date but is focused on earning the respect of the coaches at several other schools.
"Right now things are good. I have a couple offers from big-time programs and I have been in touch with a number of other schools at some level," Austin said.
UCLA, Arizona, Arizona State, New Mexico, USC, Duke and California are some of the programs that have reached out to Austin in recent weeks.
"I feel like I have a chance to grab an offer from a number of them and hope to make it to a few of their camps over the summer," Austin said. "Cal is the one school I would love to hear more from because I like what they have going on up there."
