Northwestern wins the battle for Joraskie

Three-star defensive lineman Eric Joraskie (Mount Carmel, Pa.) has committed to play in the Big Ten for Northwestern, multiple sources report.

Boston College, Kent State, Maryland, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers, Syracuse and Vanderbilt also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-4, 255-pound prospect while Penn State expressed interest.

Joraskie is Northwestern's seventh verbal during this recruiting cycle.
