North Carolina received its first two pledges for 2014 in Tajze Battle (Fort Myers, Fla./Dunbar and Robert Dinkins (Charlotte, N.C./Olympic), multiple sources report.
Battle, a 5-foot-11, 175-pound cornerback/wide receiver, spoke with the Fort Myers News-Press about his decision: “I was not expecting to commit on the trip, but North Carolina is just incredible. I had a great performance at their camp and just loved the coaching staff at North Carolina.”
