High three-star outside linebacker Joseph Jackson (Jacksonville, Fla./First Coast) has committed to play for North Carolina, multiple sources report. He made an official visit to Chapel Hill Oct. 28th.
Jackson, the nation's No. 40-rated OLB according to ESPNU, was previously committed to play for West Virginia.
Auburn, South Florida, Georgia Tech, Notre Dame, Louisville, Duke, Syracuse, Marshall, Central Florida, Cincinnati, Florida Atlantic, Florida International, Miami-FL, Southern Miss and South Carolina also extended scholarship offers.
Jackson is commitment number 16 for the Tar Heels.
