Three-star outside linebacker Jamieon Moss (Elizabeth City, N.C./Northeastern) has decommitted from East Carolina in favor of Virginia Tech, according to multiple sources.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pound prospect originally selected the Pirates in February. Wake Forest has also offered while other programs including North Carolina and North Carolina State were in the mix.

Moss earned all-conference recognition as a junior after recording 107 tackles, eight tackles for loss and three sacks.

The Hokies now have 12 pledges in their nationally-ranked 2013 recruiting class. Virginia Tech currently sits at No. 17 in ESPN's rankings.
