Wake Forest gets three more

June, 15, 2012
The Demon Deacons did not have a single commitment entering June. According to multiple sources, Wake Forest pulled in three more players on Thursday, bringing their 2013 class tally to nine.

High two-star tight end Brendan O'Neil (Cambridge, Mass./Buckingham Browne & Nichols), 6-foot-4, 230-pounds, chose Wake over scholarship offers from UConn, UMass and Temple. Boston College, Duke and Syracuse showed interest.

BB&N coach John Papas told the Boston Herald, “He liked the complete package of athletics and academics that Wake Forest offered. Just visited last week and really liked the coaching staff.”
