After visiting Tempe, Ariz. in May, quarterback Josh Dobbs (Alpharetta, Ga./Alpharetta) has decided he wants to be a Sun Devil.
"After extensive evaluation and much prayer, I committed to play at Arizona State," Dobbs said.
After passing for 3,113 yards and 31 touchdown passes in 11 games last year, the three-star prospect picked up double-digit offers in the spring. Dobbs is the No. 19 quarterback in the country and No. 48 prospect in Georgia.
He is the third commitment for Arizona State in the 2013 class, joining three-star athlete Nick Brown (Florence, Ariz./Florence) and three-star defensive end Dimarya Mixon (Mesquite, Texas/West Mesquite). If he signs, Dobbs would be the first Peach State prospect to sign with the Sun Devils during the last decade.
