June, 10, 2012
Three-star offensive tackle Kent Flowers (Hollandale, Miss./Simmons) has committed to play for Mississippi State, according to the Starkville Daily News.

Ole Miss also extended a scholarship offer to the 6-foot-4, 300-pound blocker who is currently rated as the nation's No. 107 OT by ESPN.

"I'm shutting it down because this is the school I really want to go to right here," Flowers said. "I don't want to go out of state. I want to stay home and I feel like Mississippi State is my home so that's why I'm coming to play football here."

The Bulldogs have four verbals for 2013.
