Cornerback Tyreece Jiles (Cape Coral, Fla.) has committed to play for Purdue according to his high school coach Ben Metheny, the Journal and Courier reports.
Earlier reports claimed Jiles had picked North Carolina. "People said that but he never did," Metheny said. "He said he would like to play for (interim) coach (Everett) Withers but North Carolina's situation is going to be a big question mark."
"He felt more comfortable at Purdue. He wanted to get the decision behind him and be able to know where he's going and look forward to the remainder of his senior year in high school."
