Offensive lineman J.P. Vonashek (Kingsland, Ga./Camden Co.) almost committed to Georgia back in April, but after holding off on his decision, several other programs came calling with scholarships. On Saturday he decided to accept one of those offers.
“I committed to the University of South Carolina,” Vonashek said Saturday afternoon after talking with his parents.
“The number one thing that made me commit was the coaching staff. But it is also close to home, the playing time situation is good, and it just felt like the best place for me.”
