Wide receiver/safety T.J. Taylor (Monmouth Junction, N.J./South Brunswick) made a commitment this week to sign with Rutgers, according to multiple sources.
Taylor, who is expected to play defensive back in Piscataway, N.J., also picked up scholarship offers from UConn, UMass, Pittsburgh, Syracuse and Temple.
Several other programs including Penn State, Wisconsin, Georgia Tech, Boston College, Maryland and Kansas were recruiting the 6-foot-3, 185-pound talent.
Taylor caught 17 passes for 468 yards and six touchdowns and registered 52 tackles, one interception, eight pass breakups and one forced fumble during his junior campaign.
