Highly-coveted linebacker Shane Jones (Cincinnati/Moeller) has committed to play for Michigan State according to Moeller coach John Rodenberg, the Sycamore Township reports.
“He said he just felt (Michigan State) was that great of a fit for himself and he was done,” Rodenberg said. "I think he just felt a comfort level that it’s close, it’s a good school and a lot of Moeller guys are up there,” Rodenberg added. “They let him know he was their No. 1 guy.”
Arizona, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Boston College, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, Penn State, Pittsburgh, West Virginia, Illinois, Akron, Cincinnati, Kent State and Purdue were among his other scholarship offers.
