Delano Hill (Detroit/Cass Tech) was thoroughly impressed with Iowa when he first visited the Hawkeyes in late March. His second trip to Iowa City confirmed to him the Hawkeyes were the best fit for him.
“I saw the same things I saw on my first trip,” Hill said shortly after returning from Iowa. “I like how the coaches treated the players and how they interact with the players.”
The 6-foot, 190-pound junior will begin his career at free safety, but Hawkeyes safeties coach Darrell Wilson wants Hill to learn strong safety, too.
