Toby Johnson shining as juco prospect

Arguably one of the nation’s top junior college prospects, Toby Johnson (Hutchinson, Kan./Hutchinson Community College) isn’t far away from choosing a BCS home. He currently has 18 offers to choose from, and he could add a few more by the summer.

It’s a huge step for a player who didn’t get a lot of looks coming out of high school.

“Out of high school, I felt underrated,” said Johnson, a 6-foot-4, 290-pound defensive lineman who played at Banneker High School in College Park, Ga. “I only played football for two years. They really kind of threw me out there my junior year.
