Class of 2013 athlete David Prince (Roanoke, Va./Patrick Henry) committed to play for Virginia Tech Thursday, according to multiple sources.
"I think it came down to UVa and Tech," Prince told the Roanoke Times. "I can get a quality education, be part of a quality football program and be surrounded by great people."
The 6-foot-, 175-pound prospect also picked up scholarship offers from Virginia, Wake Forest and East Carolina.
Prince completed 70 of 121 pass attempts for 1,005 yards and nine touchdowns while also rushing for 725 yards as a junior. He is expected to begin his career with the Hokies at wide receiver.
Virginia Tech's class now stands at four commitments, all from in-state prospect.
