Orlando Olympia four-star defensive tackle James Hamilton changed his commitment from Florida State to South Florida on Tuesday.

Hamilton, who is 6-foot-3 and 330-pounds, says it was a decision primarily based on location and opportunity.

“It was really the best move for me and my family,” Hamilton, who ranks as the No. 24 defensive tackle, said. “I wanted to be closer to my mother and my little sister. USF felt like the right place for me.
