Michigan State was forced to release its signing class Wednesday without listing top commitment, Monty Madaris (Cincinnati/Moeller), a four-star wide receiver.
When head coach Mark Dantonio discussed the newest Spartans yesterday afternoon, Michigan State had not received Madaris' letter of intent.
However, multiple sources have confirmed that Madaris sent his fax to East Lansing Thursday morning.
Madaris caught 56 passes for 1,137 yards and 16 touchdowns as a senior. He also rushed for 280 yards and two more scores earning multiple postseason accolades.
UConn, Florida State, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisville, Boston College, Michigan, Nebraska, Illinois, Cincinnati, Bowling Green and Kent State were among his other scholarship offers.
