Southern Miss has lost two two-star prospects, as defensive end Andrew Everett (Suwanee, Ga./Collins Hill) and wide receiver Kendrick Singleton (Glen Saint Mary, Fla./Baker County) are no longer committed to the Golden Eagles, multiple sources report.

Singleton has already committed to Middle Tennesee State while Everett is weighing offers from Ball State, Gardner-Webb, Georgia State and Massachusetts.

The departure of former USM coach Larry Fedora to North Carolina has caused quite a few pledges to reevaluate their commitments according to the Hattiesburg American. Earlier this week, Caleb Peterson, formerly the Golden Eagles' highest rated prospect, followed Fedora to UNC.

However, new Southern Miss. coach Ellis Johnson just scored a commitment from in-state lineman Oliver Bates.
