Just one day after a big 30-22 victory over Ole Miss, Auburn landed a commitment from junior college offensive tackle Xavier Dampeer (Wesson, Miss./Copiah-Lincoln).

Dampeer's commitment was first reported by 247Sports.com.

The Tigers offered Dampeer last week and the guard/center prospect made his decision during his official visit to Auburn.

The 6-foot-3, 303-pound lineman prospect chose the Tigers over offers from UAB, Troy and Western Kentucky. He becomes the 15th commitment for the Tigers and is the fourth junior college/prep school prospect who has committed to Auburn.

Surprisingly, Dampeer is the first offensive line prospect to commit to the Tigers for their 2014 recruiting class. The juco transfer will have three years to play two seasons at Auburn -- meaning a redshirt season is possible.
