Cougs land three-star lineman Krepsz

September, 25, 2013
Offensive tackle Sean Krepsz (Riverside, Calif./King) has committed to sign with Washington State, according to multiple reports. He made an official visit this past weekend during the Cougars' 42-0 blowout win over Idaho.

Fresno State, San Diego State, San Jose State and Utah State also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-4, 293-pound three-star. Other programs -- including Arizona State, California, Utah and Washington -- showed interest.

Krepsz posted an electronically-timed 5.74 40-yard dash, 4.80 20-yard shuttle, 20.4-inch vertical, 42.5-foot power throw and 77.67 SPARQ. His power throw score is one of the top marks for the 2014 class.

Washington State now has 13 commitments. All 12 high school prospects are considered three-stars. Their lone junior college pledge, defensive back Joseph Turner (San Francisco/College of San Mateo), will be evaluated this fall.
