TCU fans who have been wondering where the commits have been can breathe a little bit. The Horned Frogs have picked up their second commit in a week with a pledge Tuesday.

Inside linebacker Jarrell Owens (Palestine, Texas/Palestine) confirmed Tuesday afternoon he has pledged to the Horned Frogs.

Owens, who is 6-foot-4 and 235 pounds, put on a show last week at TCU’s camp, quickly earning the offer following his performance.

After contemplating his decision, Owens said he knew he was ready to make his choice. He entered the spring with no offers, but his name popped up more during the spring evaluation period.

Texas Tech was the first school to offer Owens, but he became a lot more known because of his camp outing last week.

Owens is TCU’s sixth commitment for the Class of 2014 and the first at linebacker.
