Tight end/defensive lineman Kyle Kuhar (Avon Lake, Ohio/Avon Lake) is set to play in the Mid-American Conference for the Bobcats, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Ball State, Buffalo and Western Michigan also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-4, 250-pound player who caught four touchdown passes and registered 13 sacks as a junior.

"They have a good communications program," he said. "There is the proximity to home, the campus and the coaches. They took a great interest in me ... I'm very glad I made the decision early."

Ohio also has verbals from quarterback Joey Duckworth (Louisville, Ohio/Louisville) and defensive end Kent Berger (Mentor, Ohio/Mentor). Both announced this month.
