Auburn improves stellar DL class

ESPN 150 talent Tashawn Bower (Somerville, N.J./Immaculata) has become the latest elite defensive lineman to select Auburn, multiple sources report. Bower joins No. 2-rated defensive end Carl Lawson (Alpharetta, Ga./Milton), one of seven five-stars according to ESPN, and No. 1-rated defensive tackle Dee Liner (Muscle Shoals, Ala.).

"After he came back (from an unofficial visit) he told me how much he liked the school," Immaculata coach Pierce Frauenheim told the Star-Ledger. "He loved the coaches. He loved the players. He loved the campus and the small-town atmosphere."

Alabama, Arkansas, California, Clemson, Connecticut, Florida, Florida State, Georgia Tech, Kansas, Kentucky, LSU, Maryland, Miami-FL, Michigan, Nebraska, North Carolina State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Pittsburgh, Purdue, Rutgers, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, Texas A&M, UCLA, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Washington and West Virginia also offered.
