Senior defensive end Sam Bennion (Logan, Utah/Logan) committed Wednesday to sign with Colorado, according to multiple reports.

Brigham Young, Utah and Weber State also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-5, 250-pound prospect.

Colorado now has 11 pledges for 2014, including three from defensive linemen.

Sun Devils snare DE Korey Rush

Arizona State landed a commitment from 6-foot-2, 240-pound defensive end Korey Rush (Salt Lake City/East), according to the Salt Lake Tribune.

He also holds scholarship offers from Ole Miss, Utah State and Weber State and received interest from Brigham Young, Clemson, Colorado, Illinois, Stanford and Utah, among others.

"I've always had the feeling about Arizona State and didn't see the point about waiting anymore," he said. "People have been asking me, 'If someone bigger comes along, would I reconsider?' My answer is no. I wasn't just going to jump the gun if I wasn't sure."

Rushed, who had 14.5 sacks during his junior season, is commitment No. 3 for the Sun Devils.

RB Nehemiah Brown makes the call

Army has received a commitment from senior Nehamiah Brown (El Cajon, Calif./Valhalla), Rivals.com reports.

Brown, who was recruited by Black Knights wide receivers coach Andy Guyader, has an official visit scheduled for the weekend of Jan. 4.

Colorado State and Weber State also extended scholarship offers to the 5-foot-9, 175-pound running back.

Army has four pledges.

Defensive end Dakota Turner (Mililani, Hawaii/Mililani) committed Tuesday to San Diego State, multiple sources report.

Army and Weber State also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-2, 240-pound rising senior. Hawaii, Washington and Washington State showed interest.

Turner registered an electronically-timed 5.19 40-yard dash, 4.43 20-yard shuttle, 26.1-inch vertical and 79.02 SPARQ on the Nike Combine circuit this spring.

San Diego State now has three verbals.

Weber State landed a verbal commitment from Houston small forward Kyndahl Hill on Tuesday, The Standard-Examiner (Ogden, Utah) reported.
