Senior defensive tackle Braxton Hoyett (Pelham, Ala./Pelham) committed Friday to sign with Mississippi State. He posted the decision, which has been confirmed by multiple reports, on Twitter:

According to AL.com, Hoyett selected the Bulldogs over Miami (Fla.). In April, he said, "I really like the chance at Mississippi State. Miami was the first school that offered me, too. I have a really good relationship with those coaches as well. I can't think of anything that I wouldn't like about Miami, but I really do like Mississippi State, though."

Since that statement, the Hurricanes picked up commitments from five high school defensive linemen and now have 26 total commitments.

Samford, South Alabama and UAB also extended scholarship offers to the 6-foot-3, 274-pound prospect. Auburn, Georgia Tech, Memphis, Missouri, Ole Miss and Tennessee showed interest.

The Bulldogs have 16 pledges. Their class is currently ranked 33rd by Recruiting Nation.

Devin Abraham (Tarpon Springs, Fla./East Lake), son of former Buccaneer cornerback Donnie Abraham, accepted a scholarship offer from South Florida, the Tampa Bay Times reports.

"I've been familiar with the school for a long time, and just knew it was for me," he said. "I just felt like there wasn't a need to wait any longer."

The Bulls topped scholarship offers from Middle Tennessee, North Carolina State, Ohio and South Alabama for the 5-foot-9, 175-pound three-star.

Abraham recorded 67 tackles and 8 interceptions during his junior campaign.

South Florida's 2014 class is up to nine verbals.

Four-star wide receiver Lawrence Lee (Pensacola, Fla./West Florida Tech) is no longer committed to Tennessee, according to media reports.

Lee did not specify his motives to the Pensacola News Journal: "There were just some things I didn't feel comfortable with. I don't really want to talk bad about them, I just wasn't comfortable with some of the things I was hearing."

The 5-foot-10, 164-pound athlete currently holds offers from Missouri, Memphis, Old Dominion and South Alabama. He plans to visit Mississippi State and Auburn in the near future.

The Volunteers now have 16 commitments for the Class of 2014.

Outside linebacker Jaboree' Williams (Fort Lauderdale, Fla./Fort Lauderdale) pledged to sign with the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, multiple sources report. The 6-foot-1, 210-pound Williams announced his decision on Twitter:

Appalachian State, Boston College, Cincinnati, East Carolina, Eastern Michigan, Florida Atlantic, Holy Cross, Illinois, Marshall, Memphis, North Carolina, Pittsburgh, South Alabama, South Florida, Southern Methodist, Tulane, West Virginia and Wisconsin were his other scholarship offers.

He posted an electronically-timed 4.84 40-yard dash, 4.74 20-yard shuttle, 32-inch vertical, 33-foot power throw and 64.68 SPARQ this offseason at a Nike combine.

Williams is commitment No. 2 for Wake Forest. Safety Cameron Glenn (Stone Mountain, Ga./Stephenson) got the Deacons' class started in April with his pledge.
