LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- ESPN 150 safety Leon McQuay III (Seffner, Fla./Armwood) will be making his college decision at the Under Armour All-America Game on Friday.
The four-star athlete has a top five of USC, Michigan, Oregon, Vanderbilt and FSU, but McQuay said he won't have all five hats for his selection on Friday.
"Yeah ... I don't know [if Michigan still in consideration]. I don't know how many hats I'll have up there," he said. "My dad said he wasn't paying for five hats. I'll probably only have three hats up there.

LOS ANGELES -- The USC Trojans made a strong push for a former commit Saturday night.
USC coaches Lane Kiffin, Marvin Sanders, Tee Martin, Kennedy Polamalu and John Baxter met with four-star athlete Max Redfield (Mission Viejo, Calif./Mission Viejo) during an in-home visit ahead of the fast-approaching dead period. Redfield decommitted from the Trojans on Nov. 4, about three weeks after his official visit to Notre Dame, but USC has shown a willingness to continue recruiting the No. 4-rated athlete.
The coaches left Redfield's home at around 10 p.m. on Saturday. Their main selling point during the meeting: location.

ESPN 150 CB Gareon Conley, who expressed strong interest in Oregon while being committed to Michigan, decommitted from the Wolverines on Tuesday.
"Coach [Greg] Mattison was at my school today and we told him [I was decommitting]," Conley told WolverineNation's Tom VanHaaren. "I felt like I did it too early and didn't wait to see what else would come. I like Michigan, but I like other schools too, and I want to visit them."
Whether that opens the door for Oregon is another story. On Monday night, Conley wrote on his Twitter account that the Ducks weren't going to offer him because they wanted a safety.

Michigan is targeting some top prospects at wide receiver, and the coaching staff got its chance to impress one of the targets in person. Receiver Alvin Bailey (Seffner, Fla./Armwood) took a trip to Ann Arbor for the first time and said the visit boosted Michigan's position.
"It helped them a lot. I was already up on Michigan, but this definitely helped," he said. "I knew some things about them, but being able to see it in person it meant a lot."
Bailey, who is the No. 5 ranked athlete in the country, said the best part of the trip for him was seeing the Big House up close, since he has never seen a stadium that size. After a spontaneous game of pickup basketball with his friends, he got a chance to sit down with the coaching staff to discuss what Michigan has to offer.
"It helped them a lot. I was already up on Michigan, but this definitely helped," he said. "I knew some things about them, but being able to see it in person it meant a lot."
