Syracuse gets another former NIU pledge

Scott Shafer is not endearing himself to Huskies Nation.

The Syracuse head coach landed another former Northern Illinois pledge on Monday when quarterback Mitch Kimble committed to the Orange.

"I have committed to Syracuse," Kimble wrote in a text message.

Kimble decommitted from Northern Illinois and officially visited Syracuse the weekend of Jan. 18. He visited NC State last weekend.
