By Brad Bournival

Ohio State and Ole Miss were attached at the hip today and it had to do with the Peach State once again.

Both schools offered 2014 cornerback Kalvarez Bessent (Kingsland, Ga./Camden County) along with teammate and junior running back Chris Williams.

In 13 games, Bessent made 22 tackles, had six interceptions, knocked down four passes and forced a fumble.

Offensively, the 6-foot-1, 170-pound junior carried the ball 60 times for 481 yards and scored five touchdowns. He also recorded 13 receptions for 244 yards and added three scores.

Williams carried the ball 58 times for 443 yards -- a 7.6 yard per carry average -- and scored six touchdowns. He also caught eight passes for 167 yards and another score.

Defensively, the 6-1, 180-pound junior made 17 tackles and had two pass breakups as a safety.
