Booth finds good in Wisconsin, Ohio State
By Brad Bournival
Camp Randall Stadium was rocking Saturday when Wisconsin took undefeated Ohio State to the limit in a 21-14 overtime loss.
Dominique Booth liked what he saw from both Wisconsin and Ohio State on his visit to Madison, Wis.
With an offer from the Badgers, Dominique Booth (Indianapolis/Pike) certainly took notice as the ESPN Watch List wide receiver was there on an unofficial visit.
“I like the campus and I love the atmosphere,” Booth said. “It’s probably the best around. I get along well with the coaches.
“When I talked to them, it went smooth. I like the pro-style offense they have going on there. It prepares you for the next level.”
Not to be ignored is the fact it’s the fourth time Booth has seen the Buckeyes. The 6-foot-1, 195-pound wide receiver was in Columbus for the Cal game and has seen Ohio State at Michigan State, Indiana and now Wisconsin.
He’s coming back to The Horseshoe this weekend to see the Buckeyes take on Michigan.
“I don’t want to play somewhere and lose,” Booth said. “Every time I see them they seem to find a way win. I want to play somewhere that wins. Their offense is nice. It fits me, too.”
Booth currently has offers from Cal, Cincinnati, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, Kentucky, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Missouri, Ole Miss, Purdue and Wisconsin. A dozen others -- including the Buckeyes -- are showing interest.
