CLEVES, Ohio -- Illinois saw something in Jauan Wesley (Harvey, Ill./Thornton) many more Big Ten programs are starting to see.
The 5-foot-11, 165-pound Wesley has put in strong performances at Core 6 events in Chicago and Cincinnati the last few weeks, placing as one of the top receivers at each event. Illinois offered him in January before the two Core 6 events.
Wesley keeps in contact with Illini assistant Steve Clinkscale often, and he recently visited Champaign.
