Athlete Dayton Valentine (Baldwin City, Mo./Baldwin) has accepted a greyshirt offer from Kansas State, multiple sources report.
Valentine will enroll in classes in the fall, but will not sign a scholarship with the school until January 2014. He explained his situation to the Baldwin City Signal: "I'll work out with the team this summer. I can only enroll in 12 hours next fall. I can't be affiliated with the team in the fall, or I'll lose a semester of eligibility. Beginning January of 2014, I'll have a full-ride scholarship."
