Canton (Ohio) McKinley defensive end Antoine Miles was all ready to commit to his long-time leader Cincinnati last week when he got some bad news.
“I was pretty much with Cincinnati, planning on going to Cincinnati,” Miles said. “We thought Cincinnati was the right decision but the [recruiting class] got full and now the coach is leaving. It changed my whole situation.”
Insert Nebraska, just a day later. Miles heard from his high school coach the Huskers were interested in offering, so Miles did his research on the program. He liked what he saw. The Huskers are in the Big Ten and several Northeast Ohio high school players are either committed to Nebraska or on the Huskers’ roster.
