David Yancey (Lake Central, Ind./Lake Central) never decommitted from Purdue, but following Danny Hope's dismissal, he was willing to listen.
With the news Darrell Hazell is the new coach at Purdue, Yancey is fully on board with the Boilermakers once again.
"I am really excited about Coach Hazell. He is a competitor and knows how to win," Yancey wrote in a text message. "I haven't officially visited Purdue so I will visit soon to meet and talk to him. I can't wait to play for him."
