Kentucky has been a team that has remained in contention for four-star cornerback Jaleel Hytchye (Cincinnati/La Salle) for quite some time, but the Wildcats dropped a bit last month as Joker Phillips's seat got hotter.
With a new coach in place, Hytchye's concerns are assuaged and the Wildcats could land an official visit. The hiring of former Florida State defensive coordinator Mark Stoops had a big impression on Hytchye.
"It was a great hire," he said. "I'm anxious to meet the new staff."
