Saint Paul (Minn.) Cretin-Derham Hall is not used to losing early in the playoffs, so junior cornerback Tim Gordon was a little surprised to be afforded the opportunity to focus on recruiting so early. Although it is less than ideal, he will take advantage of it.
Gordon took a visit to Minnesota this past weekend, his second trip to nearby Minneapolis for a game day visit. He will return for the season finale Nov. 24 and has his eyes on securing his first offer.
“I feel like Minnesota is close to offering once I hand them my film and I’ll be at their next home game,” the 5-foot-11, 173-pound cornerback said. “... I’m one of three 2014 DBs [on Minnesota’s board] and I feel like I have a good chance. They believe I’m a great player and now just want to see my film.”
