The last week has been quite kind to the Fighting Irish. Notre Dame picked up another commitment Wednesday, this one coming in the 2014 class.
Two-way lineman Jay Hayes (Brooklyn, N.Y./Poly Prep) committed to the Fighting Irish Wednesday morning.
"Just the academic opportunity and the best program in the nation for now and years to come,” Hayes wrote in a text message explaining why he committed. “Go Fighting Irish."
