Spartans offer Lawrence Marshall on visit

It turns out it was the second time that was the charm for Southfield (Mich.) defensive end Lawrence Marshall. On his second visit to Michigan State, the junior lineman added an offer from the Spartans.
The 6-foot-4, 205-pound Marshall got the offer directly from coach Mark Dantonio, too.
“Coach Dantonio told me, ‘I’d like to offer you a scholarship to Michigan State,’ ” Marshall said. “I was very happy, more happy because it came from him.”
