When four-star defensive end David Kenney III (Indianapolis/Pike) decommitted from Iowa, smart money was on Indiana to land him. A trip to Bloomington, Ind., this weekend sealed the deal for the Hoosiers.
Kenney committed to the Hoosiers on Sunday. His father is a coach at Indiana.
"My dad did a great job of recruiting me and I love Indiana," Kenney wrote in a text message.
Kenney is the 11th commitment of Indiana's 2013 class and is the highest-ranked player in the class. The Hoosiers have four in-state commitments.
