Four-star athlete Mossi Johnson (Los Angeles/Crenshaw) committed late Wednesday night to the Bruins, opting to play close to home and in the Pac-12, multiple sources report.
Johnson also had a scholarship offer from UNLV, while programs including Arizona State and San Diego State showed interest.
ESPN describes Johnson as, "an impressive, under the radar athlete with good size, range, movement and ball skills that allow for a projection on either side of the ball... a dynamic athlete who has a versatile skill-set and promising future once he concentrates on one position and continues to physically develop and become more explosive."
He is UCLA's 15th pledge for the Class of 2013. Before Johnson's decision, the Bruins held commitments from one receiver and one defensive back.
