Jamarco Jones (Chicago/De La Salle) saw an opportunity and the 6-foot-5, 285-pound offensive tackle jumped on it.
With offers from both Michigan State and Notre Dame, the big-time junior recruit headed to East Lansing, Mich., for an unofficial visit to watch the Spartans and Fighting Irish go toe-to-toe Saturday.
“It was a pretty good game,” Jones said. “I thought both teams played pretty hard. I liked what I saw from their offenses. I saw good in both teams.”
