Avon (Ind.) running back Charles Davis Jr. spent the first few months of the school year trying to get his grades to a place where he would be able to academically qualify, but even after a solid start in the classroom, Davis will likely attend a prep school next fall.
“I’m 90 percent sure,” Davis said about going the prep route. “Because of my grades I’m pretty sure I’ll be going to prep school.”
Davis, a two-star commit ranked 36th in Indiana, is being courted by Indiana, Kansas State and Washington State, but. He told Indiana his plans to go to prep school instead of a junior college so he saves a year of eligibility.
