Multiple sources are reporting that the Chippewas have picked up five new commitments: two offensive linemen, a running back, a defensive lineman and a linebacker.
6-foot-4, 265-pound Austin Doan (Romeo, Mich.) and 6-foot-5, 275-pound Jack Ford (Cadillac, Mich.) have become the first two OL pledges for Central Michigan. Ford also held an offer from Toledo.
Additionally, the Chips gained their first running back in Derrick Nash (Carrollton, Mich.).
