Class of 2014 Speedway (Ind.) receiver Justin Brent will be making his second trip to Notre Dame when he camps with the Fighting Irish on Friday.
The 6-foot-1, 187-pound rising junior is already seeing a handful of BCS teams come his way, and the Irish are intrigued to see what Brent can do in a camp setting.
“Coach [Mike] Elston invited me to the camp on the 22nd,” Brent said. “They like my size. They like what I can do and are interested in seeing me.”
Notre Dame blew Brent away on his first visit to South Bend.
“Notre Dame did stick out; I’m not going to lie,” Brent said. “The facility was so nice. The way they had everything set up for you, feeding you, going on the field, meeting the players.”
Louisville, which has a strong presence in the Indianapolis area, is also high on Brent.
“Coach Vance Bedford told me don’t worry about not having any offers. Just keep doing what you’re doing. It will all come sooner or later,” Brent said.
Cincinnati will host Brent on July 30.
