Indiana is not racking up the early summer commitments like it did a year ago, but the Hoosiers broke through Monday with their first verbal commitment in the 2013 class.
Receiver Isaac Griffith (Fort Wayne, Ind./Homestead) committed to Indiana a day after receiving an offer from the school, his dad, Shannon, said. Griffith camped at Indiana on Sunday. The Hoosiers were his first BCS offer.
The 6-foot, 180-pound receiver also had offers from Ball State, Kent State, Miami (Ohio), Ohio, Toledo and Wyoming. He also planned camping at Illinois, Northwestern and Purdue.
