Jordan Jackson (Indianapolis/Decatur Central) is still looking for his first offer, but it could end up coming from the Big Ten.
Jackson said Minnesota is the latest team to come to his high school and begin showing interest. He had a chance to briefly speak with assistant coach Jeff Phelps.
"[Their] coaches have started to take a liking to me. They don't know where to put me at either inside or outside linebacker. Really like what I show on tape," Jackson wrote in a text message. "Want me to come down to camp or if I can't they will come down and watch a game or two. Gave me his number and said call whenever and he will be calling me soon."
Jackson also spoke with Indiana coach Kevin Wilson in late April, and the Hoosiers are beginning to recruit Jackson a little more heavily now.
"They're going to heat up my recruiting and pursue me harder," Jackson wrote of his conversation with Wilson.
